Job Role - Ethics and Compliance Officer
Experience - 3-8 years
Location - New Delhi
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure company-wide compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FCPA, SOX).
- Stay up to date with evolving laws, regulations, and best practices related to ethics and compliance.
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
Ethics and Integrity Programs:
- Promote a strong ethical culture by designing and implementing ethical guidelines.
- Conduct ethics training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
- Serve as a confidential resource for employees to report ethical concerns and compliance issues.
Risk Assessment & Audits:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across business operations.
- Lead internal audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies when required.
Investigations & Reporting:
- Oversee and conduct investigations into compliance violations, ethical breaches, and misconduct.
- Maintain records of compliance incidents and prepare reports for senior management.
- Develop corrective action plans to address compliance gaps and prevent recurrence.
Policy Development & Training:
- Draft, update, and communicate company policies on ethics, anti-corruption, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide training sessions on compliance policies, code of conduct, and whistleblower protections.
- Monitor employee adherence to compliance policies and provide guidance as needed.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with legal, HR, finance, and executive leadership to align compliance strategies with business objectives.
- Advise senior management on ethical business practices and corporate governance.
- Foster a workplace environment that prioritizes integrity, transparency, and accountability.
