Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in API Testing and Python scripting to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in test automation, solid understanding of QA methodologies, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python for API testing.

Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data based on requirements.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of APIs and backend services.

Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tools.

Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues and deliver high-quality releases.

Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of the applications under test.

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation strategies.

Required Skills:

4–7 years of experience in QA Automation Testing with strong expertise in API Testing.

Proficient in Python scripting for test automation.

Solid understanding of RESTful services, HTTP methods, request/response handling, and status codes.

Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

Familiarity with test frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, or Unittest.

Experience working in Agile environments.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
